We have the experience to know what farm succession strategies work, and which ones do not. We are passionate about what we do and it shows. That is why we are working to create the best information and training platform that will solve problems and not waste anyone’s time. We provide membership levels to meet you where you are, but we want to help get you to where you want to be.
Myron Friesen
Myron Friesen, from Osage, IA, is a Co-Founder of Farm Estate GPS, LLC. He was born in Mountain Lake, Minnesota on a diversified crop and livestock farm. He earned his degree in Ag Education from South Dakota State University. From 1989 to 2000, he was the Agriculture Instructor and FFA Advisor at Osage High School. Since the year 2000, he has worked with farm families across the Midwest developing strategies to transition their farm as a co-owner of Farm Financial Strategies, Inc. He currently owns and farms 900 acres and has contract nursery and finishing hog barns.
Mark McLaughlin
Mark McLaughlin, from Ankeny, IA, is a Co-Founder of Farm Estate GPS, LLC. He grew up on a family farm near Defiance, Iowa. Mark graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He joined Farm Financial Strategies, Inc. after his family went through their own farm succession planning in 2005. His family’s farm was recently transferred to the fifth generation through their planning decisions. He now shares in the land and hog operation with his brother. Mark understands the need for proactive farm continuation strategies on both a personal and a professional level.
